Good morning! These Musings are taking a late summer hiatus in order to get bigger, better, stronger, healthier, and happier. But, rather than demanding faithful readers to experience cold turkey abstinence, a poem is provided here.
This poem is among my favourites of all time and I frequently return to it for inspiration, reflection, understanding, and much more.
Even if you don’t interact with poems, take a few moments right now to interact with this oneI hope you will enjoy it. These Musings will return in their full format on or about September 20, 2021 — the last formal day of astronomical summer.
Wild nights – Wild nights!
Wild nights — Wild nights!
Were I with thee
Wild nights should be
Our luxury.
Futile — the winds —
To a Heart in port —
Done with the compass —
Done with the chart!
Rowing in Eden —Ah – the Sea!
Might I but moor — tonight —
In thee!
